Bucket truck driver injured in single vehicle crash

One person is injured after a bucket truck was involved in a single vehicle crash in Rutherford County Friday evening just before 6 p.m.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at Interstate 24 at mile marker 67 in Rutherford County.

The truck's front tire blew out causing the vehicle to crash into the center concrete dividing wall.

After striking the dividing wall the vehicle's front steering axle was knocked loose from the truck.

The truck then bounced off the dividing wall and came to rest in the center of I-24 blocking the interstate.

The driver received non-life threatening injuries.
