The Adventure Science Center in Nashville held the city's first Mini Maker Faire on Saturday.
Tech enthusiasts, crafters, and artisans of all ages showcased their “do-it-yourself” projects and innovations at the free outdoor festival.
Every project, from creative knitting to robot building had a common theme, science and creativity.
“The people here really value creativity, and along those lines, they make amazing things. They get up in the morning and decide, I can make this world a better place, one thing at a time,” said founder of Make Nashville, Matt Kenigson
The original Maker Faire event was held in San Mateo, California.
