A new federal grant will help combat domestic violence in Nashville.
The Martha O'Bryan Center has been awarded a three year, one million dollar grant to implement an anti-violence program.
The program directs it's help the James Cayce homes near downtown Nashville on the east side of the river.
The center will team up with Metro police and other community organizations for the project, aptly titled “Nashville Force for Good.”
It is aimed at stopping a cycle of violence that begins with domestic problems and leads to more violent crimes.
