Two Nashville men are in custody after fleeing the scene of an aggravated burglary in Nolensville.
A neighbor reported a burglary in progress, then followed the suspects by vehicle when they left the home.
Police spotted the suspects' vehicle turning onto Osburn Road, less than a mile from the reported burglary.
The suspects, identified as Delmar Padilla and Wylmer Perez, sped away, wrecked their car and ran into a wooded area.
Within a short time, they voluntarily surrendered to authorities.
Police found large quantities of items in the vehicle, including guns and jewelry.
Padilla, 18, is charged with aggravated burglary, theft, evading arrest, driving without a license and leaving
the scene of an accident. He is being held on $71,000 bond.
Perez, 19, is charged with aggravated burglary, evading arrest and theft. He is being held on a $66,000 bond.
They are due in court October 3.
