NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Vanderbilt Commodores will be hosting Georgia Tech and Saint Louis in non-conference play while making a trip to the Virgin Islands and Butler.
Coach Kevin Stallings announced the schedule Thursday. The Commodores' Southeastern Conference schedule already had been released by the league.
Vanderbilt could play as many as six teams that played in either the NCAA tournament or the National Invitational Tournament.
The Commodores visit Butler on Nov. 19 for the second part of a home & home series with the Bulldogs who beat Vanderbilt last season at Memorial Gym. They also visit Texas in the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Dec. 2 with Georgia Tech visiting Dec. 21. Saint Louis, which played in the NCAA tournament, visits Dec. 30.
