Keith Urban made an appearance on Lower Broadway Friday night.
The Aussie superstar performed at three honky-tonks throughout the night.
Urban's first stop was Legend's Corner, followed by Tootsie's Orchid Lounge and then the Stage.
Each performance was slated to be around 25 minutes.
“He's probably doing what's in his nature to do. That's a musician playing with other musicians in the bar,” fan Sally Jones.
No admission was charged, but space was extremely limited.
Fans that News 2 spoke with said they lined up as early as 9 a.m. to be a part of the unprecedented music event.
“Thank you, Keith Urban! We're very excited to see you tonight!” one fan exclaimed.
Urban's return to the honky-tonks came just a few days ahead of his newest album “Fuse,” set for release on Tuesday.
