During Wednesday night's Metro Beer Board meeting, undercover officers revealed video of a recent sting operation that occurred at a popular downtown bar.
The undercover operation occurred at the Whisky Bent Saloon.
Despite fighting the charges, bar owner, Barrett Hobbs, has been found guilty and fined $2,600.
“They've got a job to do. I'm not disputing the officers,” Hobbs said, adding, “The board has a job to do and they certainly, the officers we have in this city are going to go with what they say and I certainly don't blame them for that.”
Metro officers said they will continue to crack down on restaurants and bars serving underage people.
“We can't be great if we allow underage drinkers anywhere,” DeWayne Holman with the Nashville Prevention Partnership said. “We have a lot of nice establishments downtown, in the Midtown [area], and people are taking note of that.”
Hobbs said he will not appeal his charges.
