A Kentucky mother pled not-guilty Monday in connection to her newborn daughter's recent death.
Jessica Price's newborn was discovered dead inside a trash can at a Louisville Kohl's department store on August 8.
The baby was discovered a short time later by a store employee who went to empty the trash.
Police said Price, who is also an employee at Kohl's, left work for two hours after giving birth at the store before returning to finish her shift.
The 29-year-old woman hid her pregnancy, police said.
Authorities have since said the baby would be alive if Price would have provided basic care.
Price is charged with murder among other charges. She remains jailed on a $100,000 cash bond.
