Miley Cyrus' performance on MTV's Video Music Awards has a lot of people talking about the singer who formerly starred in “Hannah Montana.”
Teens and parents were a fan of Cyrys when she starred in the Disney show.
Sunday, many parents were shocked to see Cyrus onstage performing lewd acts.
After singing her edgy hit, “We Can't Stop,” she stripped off her outfit to reveal a nude bikini. She sang the first verse of Robin Thicke's “Blurred Lines,” then grinded on the R&B singer and made suggestive moves with a foam hand.
In 2008, Cyrus shot a movie “Hannah Montana” in the Nashville area, including a scene with hundreds of local teens, tweens and parents.
Chuck Killion, owner of “Killion's Cafe” on the Columbia square where the movie was shot, told New 2 Cyrus' Sunday night performance was “disgusting.”
“I bet her dad is now singing 'Achy Breaky Heart' because a dad's heart would be breaking seeing his daughter doing that,” Killion said as he watched news coverage of the performance.
“A lot of our children were raised with Hannah Montana. Good values, dad on the program showing what he can do and what he can't do, but what we just seen? No.”
The wild child also slapped a girl's butt onstage.
