Metro police detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the man suspected of burglarizing at least 15 south Nashville businesses in the past five weeks, including Tuesday morning's break-in at the Kwik Stop on Apache Trail.
According to investigators, the suspect makes entry by breaking out windows.
In most of the cases, he took cash but he has also made off with liquor and cigarettes, police said.
The suspect appears to be a black man in his 20s with a thin, groomed mustache and beard.
Anyone who recognizes the burglar is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES).
