Two people sustained non-life threatening injuries after a train and truck collided Tuesday afternoon in Lebanon.
The accident was reported just before 1 p.m. at Briskin Lane near Sparta Pike.
Authorities reported Adam Meyer was driving a flatbed truck westbound on the roadway when the incident occurred.
Police said they believe Meyer failed to notice the train pulling 32 cars, which was traveling southbound, and crossed into its path.
Meyer and his passenger both sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident. The pair was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment.
Police reported neither of the men was wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
