The largest consignment sale in Middle Tennessee takes place only twice-a-year and is being held this weekend in Hendersonville.

Encores is the largest series of consignment sales in Middle Tennessee, opening in Sumner, Wilson, Williamson and Davidson.

The Encores and More North Consignment shop is known for their rows and rows of kid's clothes and toys, but they have now added adult clothing and home decor.

“It's great for families because you bring your stuff. You price it, you sell it. And if you're a consigner you get to shop early” said Encores co-owner Connie Hasty.

The store offers over 70,000 items for all ages from infant to adult, as well as maternity.

“We have 500 consigners that bring in things for your whole family. We start at newborn, we have things for maternity. We have tons of equipment. We have everything you could possibly need for a new baby” Hasty said.

Hendersonville's sale moved from the old K-Mart building to the old Food Lion location on 393 East Main Street.

The sale opens for new moms early on Saturday morning. Beginning at 1 p.m. the sale opens to the public and remains open through the week.

Encores will pack up what's left and go to Mt. Juliet, then Murfreesboro and then Williamson County.
