MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) – Middle Tennessee coach Rick Stockstill says he's embarrassed three players face criminal charges and that he has seen the videotape showing one choking a woman while two teammates watched and narrated.

He says he will not take any further action against the suspended players until school officials and police finish their investigation.

The coach declined Wednesday to share what he thought of the videotape, saying he has heard just one side of the story.

Middle Tennessee suspended defensive tackle J.D. Jones after he was charged with two counts of domestic aggravated assault July 20, along with defensive tackle Marcus Robinson and cornerback Rodney O'Neal, who were charged with two counts of aiding and abetting.

Stockstill says the players won't be at meetings or practices when Middle Tennessee starts work Friday.
