Officials said Thursday night's Nashville Dancin' concert at Riverfront Park will be cancelled this week.
The cancellation stems from recent steady rainfall and plans to release water from the dams at Wolf Creek, Dale Hollow, Center Hill and J. Percy Priest, causing the water level at Riverfront to rise above the lower deck.
Nashville Dancin', which is presented by the Dollar General, is scheduled to return on July 18 with performances by Mike Farris & The Roseland Revenue, The Kingston Springs, Sol Cat and Roots of a Rebellion.
