One of the state's most wanted fugitives was captured by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday in Nashville.

Terrace Shaw was taken into police custody around 3 p.m. in the 2100 block of Burns Street.

Shaw was wanted by Lebanon police for especially aggravated robbery. Police reported the 22-year-old and another individual forced their way into a Plaza 231 motel room on Cumberland Street on June 22.

One of the suspects is said to have hit the victim in the head with a handgun. Shaw and his accomplice took the victim's wallet, $350 in cash and prescription pills before fleeing the scene.

At the time of his arrest on Wednesday, Shaw was out of jail on bond for an unrelated aggravated robbery charge.

Aderius Bingham, who is believed to also been involved in the motel robbery, was also taken into custody.

Both men will be transported to the Lebanon Police Department where they will be booked into the Wilson County jail.
