Two popular Rutherford County restaurants required follow-up inspections after violations were discovered.
On June 13, the McDonald's located on Murfreesboro Road in LaVergne received two critical violations including one for a problem with the restaurant's water pressure.
Upon following up the same day, the fast food restaurant received a score of 94.
In late May, health inspectors also visited Cozumel Mexican restaurant located in Smyrna.
The inspector noted a problem with food storage temperature. The restaurant underwent a follow-up inspection the following week and received a score of 91.
Also in Rutherford County, Aya Sushi received a top score of 100. The top scoring restaurant is located on Northwest Broad Street and offers a wide variety of sushi rolls.
No Nashville restaurants received low scores this week. Among the high scorers include a pair of Wendy's at Harding Place and Interstate 24 and on Two Mile Parkway in the Rivergate area.
