American Jewelry Company was established in 1974 by owners Billie and husband, Dwight Belew. They began their journey in the jewelry business by selling turquoise and Indian jewelry to the local community. Through the years they have maintained relationships with customers that have built a solid trust in American Jewelry Co. for any of their jewelry needs.

Six years ago, Billie and Dwight had an opportunity to be the first locally owned and operated hometown business to move to the rapidly growing Providence Marketplace in Mt. Juliet.

As they continue to serve the community today, they remain an important part of Wilson County and to the communities served over the past thirty-nine years.

Opening the brand new store in Providence Marketplace was a blessing to American Jewelry.  It allowed the store to grow both structurally and still give the opportunity to build new relationships with new customers in the community.

This location gave the company more showroom growth which created a full service jewelry store offering a wide selection of brand name inventory like Tacori, Pandora, Citizen and certified pre-owned Rolexes.

When you come into the store you will find friendly professional sales staff that will assist you with all your needs by providing you with knowledge about your jewelry. Having an appraiser and master jeweler on-site brings fast service for appraisals and repairs in their full service repair shop where your needs will be taken care of in generally three to five business days.

Customers never have to worry about their jewelry leaving the store with our state of the art repair shop where we do everything from watch batteries, simple repairs, to casting and building a precious piece of jewelry from scratch that you designed yourself.

Even though American Jewelry has built a new store, and has so much more to offer, they would like everyone to understand that the building is simply just brick and mortar without the loyalty of the community to get them where they are today.

This year they are gearing up for some new traditions by getting involved in the community a little more than they have in the past. Bringing people into the store not necessarily to spend money, but to be a drop site and help support a few local charities in our area.

American Jewelry has partnered with local charities such as Second Harvest Food Bank and Soles 4 Souls in Nashville with hopes to have great success in these charities with the community's help.

American Jewelry believes that giving thanks to the surrounding area and to those that have supported them through the years is important to keep building relationships of all kinds. You can help in the fight against poverty by donating food items June 1-22 and your new or used shoes during the month of July.

American Jewelry Company will have drop boxes inside the store for donations of these items.  Collections of shoes will be donated to Soles 4 Souls in Nashville, and the surrounding area is encouraged to participate by donating much needed shoes for children and adults.

This is the best part; for those who would like to participate in these causes, American Jewelry will thank YOU by giving a gift certificate of $5 dollars to spend in the store for every 5 food items donated or $5 for every 2 pairs of shoes donated.

This means the more food or shoes you bring in during these times will increase the amount of your gift card!  American Jewelry would like to give back to the community and do our best to help in these causes.

We hope you can join our team by donating food items in June and your new or used shoes in July to our drop location.
