Nashville may not be the capital of the junior hockey world, but this week it certainly looks like it down in Cool Springs.
The Elite Edge Hockey Showcase is in its 9th year and was held from June 16 to 19 in Franklin.
It brought in over 250 players from 27 states and 6 countries.
The showcase is held for players ages 14 to 19 years old looking to improve and get noticed by college and professional hockey coaches.
The players are instructed by over 40 professional, college and junior coaches.
Over 60 players who have participated in the Elite Edge Hockey Showcase have moved on to play at a higher level.
Kyle Shero, a player participating in the showcase, is the son of former Predators Assistant General Manager Ray Shero.
His dad runs the Penguins now in Pittsburgh, so Kyle is excited to be back.
