There won't be anymore Mayhem in the A.M. in Atlanta.
Sports Radio 790 announced Monday afternoon that the three talk show hosts that participated in a bit that made light of former New Orleans Saint player Steve Gleason's recent ALS diagnosis have been fired.
Hosts Stephen “Steak” Shapiro, Nick Cellino, and Chris Dimino were all let go after a one person called into the show with a computerized voice pretending to be Gleason.

Today the Sports Radio 790 posted the following statement on its Web site:
“We deeply regret the offensive programming that aired this morning on ‘Mayhem In The AM' on 790 The Zone, related to former New Orleans Saints player Steve Gleason and his battle with ALS. We suspended the three individuals involved immediately following their comments and have since terminated their employment.”
The statement continued, “790 The Zone, our owners, sponsors and partners in no way endorse or support this kind of content. We sincerely apologize to Mr. Gleason, his family and all those touched by ALS.”
