A fire broke out at home in southeastern Nashville Wednesday evening.
Police were called at 9:10 p.m. to the 400 block of Tampa Drive.
Upon arrival, heavy flames were engulfing the house, which is now considered to be a total loss.
Officials said that the fire began in the kitchen. The homeowner thinks he might have left something on the stove.
The fire was under control within 20 minutes.
No further information has been released.
