Nashville's News 2 has learned from multiple law enforcement sources that at least two more teenage girls have come forward saying they were victimized by a local soccer coach now charged with one rape.

Investigators believe there are now seven of the girls in total who have spoken with them about George “Rico” Laise.

The 46-year-old man has run various soccer programs in Middle Tennessee for about a decade and a half.

Laise remains at Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute (MTMHI) where he has been since last Wednesday after a suicide attempt at the Metro Jail.

The coach, who was arrested last week, is charged with four different rape counts involving a 16-year-old girl who was on a soccer team he coached.

Along with those charges Metro police said they would present evidence involving a second alleged victim directly to the Davidson County Grand Jury.

On the day following his arrest, Metro police said that three teenage girls came to investigators saying they were victims of the coach.

A preliminary hearing set for this past Monday was postponed until June 17 since Laise is still at MTMHI.

His attorney listed in court documents is with the Public Defenders Office.
