Music City is ready to take on the city's signature event.
Preparations for the CMA Music Festival are nearing completion.
You may have noticed crews hard at work over the weekend setting up extra stages for the big event.
While the nightly concerts at LP Field are sold out, there will be plenty of free music throughout downtown Nashville in conjunction with the festival.
Sara Evans will kick the event off Thursday morning at the Riverstages.
There are eleven stages throughout the heart of downtown for the festival, including stages outside of the Bridgestone Arena and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
This year they have tripled the space for the autograph signings, by taking over Nashville's newest venue, The Music City Center for what's being billed as “Fan Fair X.”
Super group Lady Antebellum will kick off “Lady A Day at FFX” when the group cuts the ribbon as the fan fair x doors Thursday morning.
Nashville's News 2 will have live coverage every day from the festival with the fans and every night with the stars from LP field.
