A 77-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman were both injured in a two car collision in Clarksville Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of Madison Street.
According to police, a Nissan Rogue attempting to change lanes was clipped by the couple's Chevy Imapala.
As a result of the contact, the Impala flipped onto its left side.
The elderly driver was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. The 75-year-old passenger was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The extent of the crash victims' injuries or identities was not immediately released.
