A 50-year-old Lebanon woman is continuing to recover from a dog attack that occurred last week.
According to a report in the Wilson Post, Jane Counts was walking her Boston terrier near her home on Brockten Street when she was attacked by a Great Pyrenees last Wednesday.
The newspaper reported Counts received treatment for injuries, which reportedly required dozens of stitches, at University Medical Center. She has since been released.
Counts' dog was not injured in the attack.
The Great Pyrenees' owner voluntarily turned over the canine to Lebanon Animal Control.
