Vanderbilt ties SEC Record with 7-6 win over Alabama

With two home runs in the first two innings the Vanderbilt Commodores beat Alabama 7-6.
With the win, the Commodores (25-2 in the SEC) tied South Carolina for the most wins ever in the SEC.
Connor Harrell got it going with a two run homer in the bottom of the 1st inning before the Freshman Kyle Smith hit a two run homer in the bottom of the second.
The Dores are now one win away from breaking the record.
They can do it Friday night in game 2 of their series with Alabama at Hawkins Field.
