NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is kicking off National Safe Boating Week with Wear Your Life Jacket to Work Day on Friday.
The goal is to promote the use of life jackets as the 2013 summer boating season begins. Participants are asked to wear a life jacket to work in order to demonstrate how easy to wear one. They are also asked to send photographs to firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Saturday, another life jacket event takes place at five Tennessee locations. Ready, Set, Wear It! participants will attempt to break a world record for the most life jackets worn at one time.
More information on both events is available on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Web site.
