A 25-year-old man has been charged for in shooting death that occurred in Antioch last September.
Charles Child was given an indictment for first-degree murder Thursday.
In September 2012, Abanzer Tsegaye, 21, was shot to death in the parking lot of the Knights Inn on Bell Road in Antioch.
Tsegaye was shot when he and a friend went to the motel to take part in a marijuana transaction.
Two individuals were wanted by police for his death.
Ronald McCallum, 19, was arrested last October.
Childs was already in jail on a parole violation charge and was served his indictment there.
They will be arraigned in Criminal Court in the near future.
