MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) – Stressed-out students getting ready for finals at Rhodes College have taken a break to pet some puppies.

Exam week begins Monday at Rhodes and Real Good Dog Rescue of Memphis brought about a dozen young dogs to campus for the college's third annual Puppy Break.

Student organizer Taylor Burnett told The Commercial Appeal the break reminds students of home and relieves the tension of impending exams.

Students played with the pooches for about three hours Monday, tossing balls to them and giving them belly rubs.

Students will get the rubs Tuesday with free massages scheduled as a stress reliever.
