Temperatures fell from the 60s to the upper 40s in Nashville Wednesday afternoon as a cold front pushed through the Mid-State.
A rain chance will linger into the midday in and around Nashville and could last into the early afternoon for areas southeast of Davidson County.
Temperatures are expected to get cold late Wednesday and could drop to the upper 30s early Thursday morning. A light patchy frost is possible Thursday morning.
Sunshine will help temperatures climb back into the 60s Thursday with ample sunshine.
