A shooting occurred Monday night in north Nashville, injuring one.
Police responded to a call just before 8:20 p.m. to the corner of Kings Lane and Tucker Road.
According to police, a man who lives near the intersection was shot, walked back to his home and called police.
A local resident said that he heard four or five shots get fired.
The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and there no word on his condition at this time.
Police are searching for a dark, four-door van and hope to get a description of the suspect from the victim at the hospital.
Choppers are also flying around the around searching for a suspect.
