Mt. Juliet police warn residents of home burglaries

Police in Mount Juliet have issued a warning for residents concerning home burglaries.

Burglars have broken into three homes in the Clearview Estates neighborhood in during the day, and all burglaries have happened on Thursdays.

All victims arrived to find doors kicked in and homes ransacked.

Cash, jewelry, firearms, and narcotics were all reported stolen.

The burglaries are happening during the day while residents are away from their homes.

Police believe the offenders knock on doors to determine if homeowners are there, if not they then kick the door open and break in.

The suspect who was checking to see if residents were home is possibly a white female in her middle 20's described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing around 115lbs, having dark hair and Brown Eyes.

Police say a possible suspect vehicle was described as a silver, small two-door car similar to a Nissan 350z.
