PARSONS, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities said on Friday a purse found earlier this week near Holly Bobo’s west Tennessee home did not belong to the missing nursing student.
The purse was discovered by a dog about a mile from Bobo’s home where she was kidnapped from on the morning of April 13, 2011.
The recently found purse, which was found empty and turned inside out, was placed into the TBI’s possession.
Investigators combed the area on Thursday. Their search provided no additional findings.
Volunteers and family members have continued their search since her disappearance just over two years ago.
Bobo is five feet, three inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.
She has blue eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair and was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans and black flip flops.
There is a $250,000 reward being offered for information leading to Bobo’s location.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
