A concerned citizen has posted a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the boy suspected of shooting a high school student.
The citizen, who wishes to remain anonymous, came forward in an effort to assist the police department in bringing 17-year-old Eric Goodner to justice.
Goodner is suspected of shooting 17-year-old Johnathan Johnson at point blank range on April 11 on 10th Avenue North.
Johnson was on his way to the bus stop, headed to Pearl Cohn High School, when he was killed.
The citizen’s reward is in addition to up to $1,000 being offered by Nashville Crime Stoppers for information leading to Goodner’s whereabouts.
Authorities are continuing there efforts in locating Goodner, who is named in a Juvenile Court petition and arrest order charging him with criminal homicide.
Goodner has also been entered into the National Crime Information Center database which would alert any law enforcement agency in the country coming in contact with him that he is a fugitive from Nashville.
