Country duo Sugarland has announced their plans to take a break from music while new mother Jennifer Nettles spends time with her infant son.
According to TheBoot.com, during the break guitarist Kristian Bush plans to go solo.
“We decided not to write anything for the next record until the other side of the baby, which seems like a good choice, because she's going to see world differently after the baby than before. So I think there's plenty of time [for solo projects] right now,” Bush told the country music Web site.
Bush released his first solo single, “Love or Money” last month in Europe.
Nettles gave birth to her son Magnus last December.
