The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added a west Tennessee man to the state's top 10 “Most Wanted” list on Thursday.
Twenty-five-year-old Darius Mitchell is wanted by authorities for attempted first degree murder.
According to a witness, on March 23 Mitchell was chasing a vehicle and fired a gun through the driver side window, striking the driver of another vehicle in the face.
The gunshot victim was transported to an area hospital and has since been released.
Mitchell is described as a black male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is six feet, three inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds.
He also has tattoos on his back, neck and both of his arms.
Authorities said his criminal record dates back to 2006 and includes possession of marijuana and cocaine, domestic violence, aggravated assault and aggravated robbery among others.
Mitchell is considered armed and dangerous. His last known address is last known address 225 Hickman Street, Henning, Tennessee.
