The Titans agreed to terms on a one-year contract with two unrestricted free agents on Monday.
Wide receiver Kevin Walter and center/guard Chris Spencer will join the team in the fall.
“Both Kevin and Chris are established veterans in this league who have a great deal of starting experience,” said Titans general manager Ruston Webster.
“They have made significant contributions on good teams during their careers. We feel like they can come in and provide increased competition at their respective positions for us,” Webster continued.
Walter, at 6'3″ and 217 pounds, has 152 games of NFL experiences and 93 starts throughout his 10 year career.
He has made 356 receptions for a total of 4,379 yards and 25 touchdowns.
Walter spent the last seven seasons with the Houston Texans, and played three seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals before that.
A native of Vernon Hills, Illinois, Walter graduated from Eastern Michigan University as the school's all-time leader in receptions (211) and receiving yards (2,838).
Spencer, at 6'3″ and 309 pounds, has 105 career games of NFL experience and 89 starts throughout his eight year career.
He spent the last six years with the Seattle Seahawks, and played two years with the Chicago Bears before that.
A native of Madison, Mississippi, Spencer had a three year career at Old Miss and earned honorable mention All-SEC honors from the Associated Press in his junior year.
