Metro police along with probation officers conducted a sweep to monitor youth on probation supervision in Davidson County on Thursday.
In total, 16 probation officers and 24 Metro officers conducted 65 checks of court ordered curfew and room searches for possession of drugs or weapons.
The result was that the majority of juveniles were in compliance with their probation rules.
Three arrests were made for individuals possessing weapons, including two handguns and one shotgun. They were confiscated by authorities.
Arrests were also made for possession of drugs, including possession of 18 grams of marijuana, possession of 17 hydrocodone pills and possession of 64 Xanex pills.
Of the 65 juveniles that were checked, 47 were in full compliance with their curfew and court orders.
Over 400 youth are being supervised within Davidson County probation status.
Officials said that these kinds of checks are regularly performed by court and Metro police.
