The TSA pre-check program begins Wednesday at the Nashville International Airport.
The program already exists in 40 other airports in the U.S. The program lets travelers pre-register through five airlines or through U.S. Border and Customs.
Then, passengers can use a special lane at the checkpoint where they don't have to take off their shoes.
Passengers can also leave their light coats on, leave their liquids in their bag and leave their belts on.
