Metro Police enforced the Operation Safer Streets initiative over the weekend and it resulted in 65 arrests.
The operation took place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Sixty-five arrests were made involving 57 misdemeanors, six felonies and 20 outstanding warrants.
Authorities seized 15 grams of marijuana and 1.3 grams of cocaine.
Officials said that at least three times a week officers and supervisors representing all Metro precincts and the Specialized Investigations Divisions partner together to combat gang crime and activity around Nashville.
So far in 2013, Operation Safer Streets has resulted in 748 arrests on 36 felony charges, 682 misdemeanor charges, six gun seizures, 178 outstanding warrants, 68 field interviews of persons believed to have gang knowledge and 3,617 vehicle stops in areas with a gang presence.
