Murfreesboro police are investigating after a woman says a man sexually attacked her earlier this month during a massage session.

According to police, the alleged incident involving Augustus Ogiste II occurred at the Truu Bluu Salon and Spa on March 4.

The victim reported to police that the 24-year-old man rubbed her private parts during her massage session that she purchased online.

The manager of the business told police Ogiste worked as an independent contractor and is no longer working at the spa.

Ogiste was not a licensed massage therapist.

Nashville's News 2 spoke with many of the neighboring businesses.

Shirley Douglas is a member of the Jubilee Tabernacle which meets right across the parking lot from Truu-Bluu Salon Spa.

Douglas said she wasn't quite sure what was going on at the massage establishment, but she found Ogiste's arrest shocking.

“Not got acquainted with these people, just saw them about two weeks ago for the first time,” she said. “It is scary to have neighbors that you just don't expect that downtown in Murfreesboro.”

Ogiste is charged with sexual battery and impersonation of a licensed professional.

He remains jailed on bond and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
