Predators losing streak hits four with 4-3 loss at Columbus

A furious Predators rally came up a goal short at Columbus Tuesday night as Nashville fell 4-3 for its fourth regulation loss in a row.

Columbus built a 4-1 lead in the third period behind goals from Nikita Nikitin and Derrick Brassard, but the Predators made things very interesting in the final minutes.

Chris Mueller scored the first goal of his NHL career with 2:01 to play to make it a 4-2 game, then just 46 seconds later Mike Fisher backhanded in a rebound off of a Shea Weber slapshot to make it 4-3.

Gabriel Bourque scored Nashville's other goal, his team leading 10th of the season.

The Predators are back home at Bridgestone Arena Thursday night to host Calgary.
