The History Channel's series “The Bible” has become must see TV, with more than 10 million Americans tuning each Sunday night.
Mark Marshall, the pastor of ClearView Baptist Church in Franklin said it is creating a buzz within his congregation.
“I really hope that the interest continues, their interest reading the Bible more, spending more time just going to the scripture,” said Marshall.
Marshall admitted he was a little surprised by the sheer volume of viewers, but he hopes Hollywood takes notice.
Marshall hopes the show will reach a crowd he does not typically see on Sunday mornings.
The Bible airs Sunday nights at 7 p.m. on the History Channel.
There are two two-hour episodes left.
