The Tennessee Volunteers got 17 points from Jordan McRae and won a must win game against Mississippi State 69-53 in the second round of the SEC Tournament.

The 5th seeded Vols jumped out to a 19 points first half lead against the 13th seeded Bulldogs.

Trae Golden added 15 points as the Vols knotched their 20th win of the season. Quinton Chievous came off the bench for a career high 10 points.

The Vols earn a date with 4th seeded Alabama tomorrow afternoon in a battle of teams on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament.
