As expected Titans guard Steve Hutchinson is calling it a career after 12 NFL seasons.
Hutchinson played just one year with the Titans and it lasted only 12 games. The 7-time pro bowler and 7-time All Pro missed the last four games of the season after injuring his right knee.
He spent the first 11 years of his career with the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings before signing a free agent deal with the Titans last year.
Hutchinson's retirement frees up about 4-million more dollars for the Titans to spend under the salary cap with free agency starting Tuesday.
The 12-year veteran out of Michigan will be a candidate for the NFL's Hall of Fame in five years.
