Metro police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 19-year-old who is alleged to have participated in the critical wounding of a man earlier this month.
Police have determined during their investigation Terrell Booker and another man went to Jerome Perkins' apartment to sell marijuana.
According to police, the 20-year-old victim opened the door and was reaching for money when Booker and his accomplice tried at gunpoint to rush inside.
Perkins was able to close the door before a shot was fired into his apartment, striking him in the neck.
Anyone with information on Booker's whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
Authorities said he was last known to have lived on Wildwood Drive in south Nashville.
Arrest warrants charging Booker with attempted murder and attempted especially aggravated robbery have been issued.
