Plagued by injuries, the Nashville Predators made four roster moves Monday before embarking on a five game road trip.
The team placed forward Patric Hornqvist and Colin Wilson on injured reserve.
Both suffered apparent shoulder injuries over the weekend in almost identical plays.
Replacing them on the roster are Matt Halischuk and Brandon Yip. Halischuk is back after a conditioning assignment at AHL affiliate Milwaukee.
Yip was activated from injured reserve.
Wilson is the Predators leading scoring with seven goals. Halischuck and Yip have combined for two goals this season.
