A 14-year-old was injured in a stabbing late Tuesday night.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Packard Drive in south Nashville.
Metro police Captain Ben Dicke told Nashville's News 2, the victim was walking into the apartment complex when he said three adult males wearing all black approached him.
The teen stated one of them stabbed him in the upper back.
He said he did not know the suspects or why he was targeted.
The teen was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center Pediatrics to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
No further details were immediately released.
The investigation is ongoing.
