Metro police charged a man with driving under the influence on Sunday after he was spotted traveling the wrong way on a downtown street.
Court documents said police saw Eloy Deloa Orozca driving the wrong way down 4th Avenue heading towards 2nd Avenue.
Officers reported the man ran a red before getting onto the interstate.
The 35-year-old man was allegedly driving less than 30-miles-per hour in the right lane of Interstate 40.
Responding officers said Orozca stopped at Fesslers Lane and that he smelled of alcohol.
According to court documents, he did not pass a field sobriety test.
Oeozca is charged with driving under the influence.
He remains jailed on a $12,000 bond.
