A 19-year-old man has come forward regarding the August 2012 murder of Chijoke Ike.

Aaron Eugene Hall surrendered himself to police headquarters Thursday night on a grand jury indictment charging him with first-degree murder.

Last August, Chijoke Ike, 28, was found shot to death in a field on 33rd Avenue North after his family had reported him missing.

Cold Case Detective Chad Holman led to the identification of Hall as a suspect.

Hall is a resident of west Nashville and attends college in Jackson, Tennessee.

A second man, Timothy Leron Brown, 24, is also under indictment for Ike's murder.

Brown is currently incarcerated on burglary and aggravated assault charges, as well as facing separate charges indicting him with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery from another August crime.
