Traces, a critically acclaimed modern circus, comes to Nashville's Andrew Jackson Theatre this February.
Fusing the traditions of circus acts with the energy of street performances, the artists in Traces share their skills in everything from music and dance to athletics and high-risk acrobatics.
The show is a spectacularly anti-spectacle, relying instead on the abilities of the performers who appear to be nothing more than a good group of friends until they unleash 90 minutes of heart-stopping acrobatics and other high energy modern circus acts.
Time Out New York gave Traces it's highest five star rating, and TIME Magazine has named the show one of the top ten plays and musicals of 2011.
Traces will be at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in the Andrew Jackson theatre through the weekend.
The performance on Friday begins at 8 p.m., with two shows on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and two shows on Sunday at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
